Every time I use twitter, firefox ends up freezing and crashing. Sometimes the crash happens after I close it, of its own accord, and even surprisingly have firefox spontaneously close without the crash reporter opening at all. I have enough spare memory to run firefox.

What I meant to say is that it only caused crashes when playing a video on twitter that was hosted by twitter. This issue got fixed with the release of Firefox 89.

If there is still a problem,

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
