just got new macbook pro, want to have the browsers stay in sync.

going to sync and adding a device it keeps wanting me to get the app, and point the QR code at my phone. that's not where I am

Just make sure everything you want to sync is checked on the old macbook. Then on the new macbook, just open Firefox and then log into your FF account and make sure everything you want to sync is checked. Then then browser on the new mackbook should start syncing.
