Folders that Cannot be Deleted

more options

I have an Outlook email account which I manage using Thunderbird.

For reasons not known to me some strange folders have appeared in the folder list. The folders in question all have italian names and appear to be some sort of system error folders - Problemi di sincronizzazione.

I do not recognise them, they are empty and are not visible when I view the outlook account using a browser.

I would like to delete them but when I attempt to do so I get an error message "The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account Outlook responded:Command Argument Error. 11."

Any help to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance

Hi Ray

Please try Thunderbird Troubleshoot Mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird

If that fixes the issue please let us know!

If it doesn't fix it: Please provide the following troubleshooting details to help us help you: Please let us know what version of Thunderbird you are using, your operating system e.g. Windows 11 and your email provider e.g. gmail, what 3rd party software like add-ons, anti-virus or firewalls you are using

Cheers! ...Roland
