It is now late May and Firefox v3.6.28 has not yet updated despite several weeks of "This is your last reminder before you will be automatically updated to the latest version."

When will Firefox v3.6.28 automatically update to v12+?

those auto-updates should have been going on for 1-2 weeks already. if you didn't receive it yet, you can download & install it manually by visiting getfirefox.com. all your personal data will remain in your profile, but addons will be checked for compatibility...

Thanks, madperson. What I want to know is when, if ever, will Mozilla actually "automatically update [me] to the latest version" if I keep clicking the Ask Later button.

i don't know in which context this "ask later" button is appearing - in case the update is already downloaded & this is just the confirmation before installation, then you can likely keep clicking "ask later" indefinitely to delay the update. as i've said the auto-updates should have started 1-2 weeks ago, so there probably won't happen anything more than you're currently seeing (&still given a choice about it).

I fear that if customers keep clicking "Ask Later" v3.6.28 will never be "automatically updated." I want Mozilla to automatically update v3 browsers to v12+ by some date, say May 30, 2012. Mozilla's information, such as it is, implies that sometime in May all v3 Firefox browsers will be updated to v12+ automatically whether the customer wants to update or not (assuming the customer has not turned off updates in Tools, Options, Advanced, Update).
