I have the latest version of Thunderbird 38 and for some reason emails that come from gmail accounts (like example@gmail.com) have stopped coming through. I can send to gmail accounts but I can't receive. It's my business email that I'm using. I do not have a gmail account associated with Thunderbird. Thanks... Rob

Have you checked your own spam folder? Depending on your account type you may also need to check on the server. You haven't provided any information about your account type (yet).

Those who sent me emails called and asked if I was mad at them for not responding to their emails. That's when I knew something was wrong. So I created my own gmail email account as a test to confirm. Yahoo and other business type emails are working fine.

Who is your email provider? Are they operating anti-spam or blacklisting tools?

Do your correspondents get any indication that their messages to you have been declined?

My provider is Time Warner Cable and my correspondents did not get any message that their emails were declined.

Nothing in spam. pop account? Is that what you are asking? I work with five other folks in this small office. Everyone else with outlook are receiving their emails from gmail folks... For some reason Thunderbird won't go through. My only solution would be to change to outlook I guess?

Ok this is embarrassing .. the co workers computer has gmail blocked .. the settings were not through Thunderbird but on the website version of Time Warner email ... where you can check setting etc. Under blocked addresses It just said gmail mixed in with other email addresses? Don't know how that happened but for the time being it's working. Thanks for everyone's help.

With POP Thunderbird does not see messages which Gmail has classified as spam. Check the spam folder on the server via webmail.
