"Sending of password for user j************@ntlworld.com did not succeed. Mail server pop3.virginmedia.com responded: Authentication failed." No problem before update to v 91.2.1. I eventually found the Tools/Preferences/Privacy & Security menu for access to the password (previously under Tools/Options), and saved passwords were intact. I now have NO access to my email at all. HELP!!!!!!!! [NB I'm posting this from another email account which I don't access via Thunderbird. Please use it for reply.]

Resolved today. By coincidence, Virgin Media yesterday suffered an email outage related to password blocking which has now been cleared for most - but I needed to call to have THEM reset my password) - it was unfortunate that this happened on the same day that Thunderbird was updated!
