For several days I got a pop up message asking me to start in safe mode or reset. I figured after choosing safe mode and still getting the message I must need to choose reset. When I did that it very slowly started removing files into an "Old Firefox Data" folder that was created. After that point I have been unable to open Firefox. When I try I get the message "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." I have uninstalled/reinstalled and rebooted my machine many times and still nothing.

hello icanbeme2005, type in start box %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox see if you have profiles.ini file, if yes delete it, and check it again.

see also : Recovering important data from an old profile

Transferring data to a new profile - Firefox

and : Copying files between profile folders , because you already have "Old Firefox Data" folder after reset firefox.

thank you
