Hi there! okay i was looking at a background image and some how when i open up inspector it open the background image as its self and i was able to resize it and when i was done resizing it ( big as possible ) i click on the download button and save it as that size, so if you can tell me step by step detail on how to do it again that would be great that way i can download and save the resize back ground image any time i want. thank you!!

I don't think just "saving as" will solve the problem. Resizing the image in the browser doesn't change the image file, therefore when you save the file any changes you did in the browser will not be present in the file saved.

In order to have it in other dimensions, you'd have to "print" the image again. You can do this in Firefox's command line (Shift+F2), typing in: "screenshot --fullpage" (omit the "--fullpage" argument if you only want to save the visible section of the image). Alternatively, you can use one of the many Addons for it, like Fireshot.

There are also specific programs to change an image's dimension (or scale https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_scaling ) outside Firefox. Just duckduckgo it ;)

PS: if you don't want to save the background image's file, all you want it to do is to display the background image in the browser in a different size, then you can change the size with a CSS rule {background-size: 200%;} More info here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/CSS_Background_and_Borders/Scaling_background_images
