I have tried the archived threads but they don't seem to work for me. I am also new to iMac so that may be part of the problem

I have unlocked thunderbird which seems to have allowed some progress in the set up. Now I am getting a message that I have an incorrect path. Probably the difference between windows and Mac. I have trouble identifying how to determine the path in Mac. I have copied and pasted the info in the old profiles folder into the new one but no luck.
