The links turn purple after clicking them, but disappear later. They used to stay purple for days, even weeks later. I haven't changed any settings, only automatic updates from Firefox. Running Windows 10 on PC with 1TB hard drive and 8G RAM.

I'm searching Newly Listed items and clicking on the latest entries at the top of the results, so I know where to stop the next time I search. It's seems that the links revert back to blue when a newer listing is posted.

Hello TextBookMan23,

Could it be that you're in permanent Private Browsing mode  ?

3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => Privacy & Security => under 'History' => Firefox will : choose : 'Use custom settings for history' Uncheck : 'Always use private browsing mode'

You could check this :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar and look for the preference :

layout.css.visited_links_enabled

and make sure it has the default value (true)

Not in privacy mode and was already set to True. Links outside of eBay are being remembered, such as Google News Results.

Thank you so much, I was beginning to think it was only me. I've been saying it for years, eBay is one of the worst run companies in the world. A website that literally loses functionality as we progress through time. Astonishing.
