I have been noticing contextual links showing up on pages for various keywords. These links go to affiliate websites. The problem is, they are showing up on my website. I am having links that I do not authorize on my website going to sites that I am not an affiliate. These people are stealing my traffic.

If I have 200 people come to my site today and 175 can see these links, how many are clicking on these links and leaving my site? The only browser I have noticed this happening is firefox so far.

There are 2 companies I have found responsible so far. Koneta.com and text enhance. A text enhance link has shown up on of my webpage links for hotel search going to a company called sortfly.com advertising hotel rooms. These people are outright stealing traffic I am paying for. When you click on the link, it takes the visitor to their page.

Firefox is a very popular browser with millions of people using it. There is no doubt I and other webmasters are losing traffic because of this.

Thanks for the reply. I have already done that and it did work. But, that is only on my browser window. What about the countless others who see these links and click away from my site?

Why are they allowed to hijack browsers this way?

If you didn't add that code yourself then it sounds that your site got hacked and that some code got injected.

You should inspect your HTML code to see if you can identify the offending JavaScript.
