For how long have you had this problem exactly? Have you tried this on more than one web page?

Maybe you could try clearing the cache.

Perhaps that solves the problem for now.

@JoKers: thank you very much for your answer! unfortunately, clearing the cache doesn't solve this problem. every time i'm shutting firefox down, i'm clearing it. Yes, this problem is on different websites. i don't know the exact time, because i don't often download pictures. but it lasts longer than june; my last picturedownload was at the end of april, i suppose.

yes, than could be. but i don't know where i can find them. and i didn't download any more add-ons, since i have firefox installed 2016. facebook protector is on.

Just open the settings drawer. There should be a tab "tools" where you can find add-ons

Alright. Don't worry about the openH264video-kodek...

I wonder what would happen, if you turned off the "I don't care about cookies 2.6.6" add-on. Can you try switching it off and downloading another picture?

here i am again... after an update to firefox 54.0.1, picturedownload does not work again. why? i did not change anything, but there was this update...

now i uninstalled nearly every add-on: bluehell firewall 2.6.3 https everywhere (but lightgrey, so i suppose, it isn't active yet) i don't care about cookies 2.6.6

- and i forgot to mention, that there is facebook phishing protector 4.4.3.1 - i did not uninstall this one yet, but stopped it and also the restart 3.0.2 - addon.

but all this did not solve the problem. the picturedownload still does not work.

can anybody here help me, please?
