When I was using POP3 emails. All the accounts came to the same "inbox" "Junk" Trash" etc.. Fantastic ! I switched over to Imap and changed all my accounts to "Unified" folders. The Unified "Junk" folder only has "Delete" and when I do, they all go to "Trash" and I have to then delete them again from there. The old POP3 settings, you could (I believe the name was) "Empty JunK' and it would delete the msgs in the "Junk" folder permanently (would not be sent to "Trash"). I dug through hundreds of help topics, but can't seem to find the answer. Any idea what I am missing? Thanks, Vic

Unified folders are "virtual folders", they are created on the fly as it where and populated with information in your real account folders. So if you want to "empty trash" you need to select a real account folder under the unified one to do so. Same with empty trash.
