How do I shut off the automatic spelling control on Firefox?

I´m new at Mozilla Firefox, and writing my first email on yahoo here (as well as this message), I discovered that all my typing gets checked for spelling. Mostly ending up in a lot of red wrinkles, since I use at least four different languages when I´m active on the Internet. I find this irrelevant spell check on my typing highly annoying, and I think I can survive perfectly well without this feature. I saw on the opening site here that the automatic spell check is announced as a great extra feature. But how do you turn it off if you don´t want it?

Hope someone can help me out here!

Tools -> Options, "Advanced" section, "General" tab, untick "Check my spelling as I type"

Thanks! That helped a lot. It´s still doing it in this message though; I´ll see what happens after I shut down and get started again.
