A thread of emails from one individual has disappeared from my inbox on my desktop but appear in the inbox on my phone account
I received an email into my inbox, which yesterday appeared in the inbox on my desktop and my phone. I had an email exchange with the individual from my phone this morning and when I went onto my desktop these emails did not show up and the original email from yesterday had also disappeared. When I used search, all the emails were there and the location was the Inbox - however when I sorted my inbox by name these emails still didn't appear. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

re :It's very strange because when I use search for the emails they are there!
But can you actually select one of the emails in the search and open to display and read the contents?
Please logon to webmail via a browser. Are all the emails ( created during conversation ) visible on server ? If yes, try this: In Thunderbird Right click on the folder and select 'Properties' click on 'Repair folder' click on OK
Select another folder and then reselect the folder you repaired.

Your question implies, I think, that you use threaded view? If so have you checked that you have View > Threads > All selected? (i.e. not just unread threads)
Many thanks for your thoughts - much appreciated. Checked view as suggested and 'all' has been selected. Very strange as it's only this one thread of emails.
