I have exact same. Blank white screen on opening Firefox. If I minimise and re-maximise window exact same symptoms as above. I can click on menu options and managed to restart in safe mode and all works. Tried above solutions, full fresh install with no add ons but still the same. Windows 10 on hp pavillion laptop. Already spent far too long trying to sort this and afraid Edge is working perfectly.
