Restore deleted emails older than 30 days

Hello everyone,

I have very stupidly in the profile settings changed the email retention to delete emails older than 30 days from server thinking it will delete emails older than 30 days from when I changed the settings, I foolishly thought my current emails will stay where they are. My inbox and other folders are now empty. When I noticed what is happening I changed the settings back and restarted the program but it was too late. Is there anything that can be done about this? Would restoring a back up profile resolve this?The inbox or other folders have NOT been compressed.

I am working on Windows 10.

A backup profile would have messages up to that date. If this is IMAP, I encourage starting offline.
