Webpage Number Sequencing
I have a company website that has numbered lists. The sequence of the numbers, for example is: 1. XXX
a. XXX b. XX
4. XXX
For some reason it counts the a & b as numbers and displays 4 when it should be 2. Other browsers (Edge and Chrome) display the sequence normally.

Is this about nesting lists ?
<ol> <li>first item <!-- closing </li> tag is not here! --> <ol type='a'> <li>first item first subitem</li> <li>first item second subitem</li> </ol> </li> <!-- Here's the closing </li> tag --> <li>second item</li> </ol>

Hi cor-el,
Yes, it appears to be an issue with the nesting list. Just to clarify I'm not a coder or programmer, just a user. I'm posting here because this is an issue exclusively when viewing using Firefox browser.
I would like to establish if there's an issue within Firefox, or if I need to recommend something to the website developer, and if so, what would that be?
