Why cant I use the bookmark on Firefox

more options

When I try and bookmark a page the bookmark box comes up and says remove this page, inviting me to click yes. So I am unable to bookmark anything . What can I do. Have a nice day, with Christian regards,

Which version of Firefox? Which OS are you using? What method of bookmark are you using? (star from the awesome bar, Bookmarks menu, keyboard shortcut, etc)

When you click on the hollow star within the location bar, you bookmark the current page, and the star becomes filled. Depending on how you are set up you may automatically open the bookmark, or you may have to click on the bookmark star again to see the bookmark. At that point you can see the already bookmarked bookmark, your choices are:

  • Review bookmark and do nothing
  • Action button (Seen at the top), "Remove Bookmark", "Remove 2 Bookmarks", or comment "Page Bookmarked". Watch out for wording like Remove 2 bookmarks if you don't know where each of those bookmarks are -- this would not be the place to remove only one of them -- for that you would have to go to the actual bookmark folder(s).
  • Expand or contract the dialog box -- control indicator is to the far right of Folder name.
  • Change the folder the bookmark is in, create a new folder
  • Change or add Name/Title, Location, Keyword, Tags, Description depending on what you are set up to show there.
