Tab icons dont show up after session restore.
After getting back to an older version of Firefox, some of my old settings were lost. One I dont understand is that after a restoring a session, I can see the tabs and the text about the site, but not the icon that comes before it. I know its a minor thing but it helps a lot with recognizing everything.
Also, is there a way to make a bigger space between each line of text? There was a lot more space between each line in the history library for example.

Not sure what you mean. Can you include a screen shot?
Clear the Cache Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
and
Remove Cookies Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If there is still a problem,
Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General.
Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Then restart.

Hi XxNemesisxX, in my case I found that the tab icons (favicons) that load seem to be for the tabs that I've accessed more recently. I don't know if Firefox is remembering the icons for the last n tabs I used or the tabs I used in the last two weeks or so. Either way, I don't know how to help you with that.
I do however have a suggestion for line spacing in the user interface. These are the steps that worked for me:
- Close Firefox (open this page in another browser so you can follow these instructions).
- In the file explorer, go to your account folder/directory (such as C:\Users\XxNemesisxX\) and from there, make sure hidden files and folders are visible so that you can go to AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\WhateverYourFirefoxProfileIsCalled\.
- In here, create a folder called 'chrome' (without the quotes) if one doesn't already exist.
- Open a text editor such as Notepad and paste this in:
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); menu, menulist, menuitem { padding-top:10px !important; padding-bottom:10px !important; } * { line-height: 30px !important; }
5. Save the file to the chrome folder/directory you created, calling it 'userChrome.css' (without the quotes).
6. Close the text file and open Firefox.
You'll probably find the values for padding-top, padding-bottom and line-height too large, so you should tweak them until you get something you like. You can also add 'font-size: 30px !important;' (without quotes) if you want the user interface text bigger.
The stuff after * { mainly applies to dialog boxes such as Firefox Options/Settings windows, while the stuff before (and after menu, menulist, menuitem {) is for drop-down menus and lists.
Make sure that "All files" and not "Text files" is selected when saving the userChrome.css file.
Otherwise there might be a hidden .txt Firefox appended (userChrome.css.txt)
The problem partially fixed itself somehow. After restoring my previous session from yesterday, the icons on the tabs showed up! However, if I get back to a week old session for example via Session Manager, then the tab icons still are not visible. Might be that Firefox is remembering them, like you mentioned before. And that reinstalling it was what caused this problem.
Thanks for the line spacing, even though it might not be exactly what I was looking for because if I open my Show All History Library, the spacing there is still the same.
Thanks for the help though, its much appreciated!
