Thanks for your reply, and just to clarify, I was only on the computer for less that 2 hours and was only looking up basic page documents. These did not have any high graphic pictures or videos, although I did watch and down load a couple of youtube videos.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
