change bookmark icons
hi guys, now using firefox from using internet explorer, if i make a new folder in my bookmarks, how do i use my own icon for the new folder, when i used internet explorer i just right clicked folder, go to properties, customize, browse icons etc. it does not seem that easy when using firefox to add a icon to my bookmarks folder, please can you guys help,

Sorry, Firefox doesn't have features like that for bookmarks folder. It is possible by using userChrome code, but you have to come up with your own images. Overall it is a royal waste of time.
Maybe there's an extension available that will do at least part of the job. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Feel free to search for something you can use.

You will have to right-click the "Free Install" button and select "This Frame > Open Frame in New Tab" to be able to allow the website to install the extension.

i tried the above info and it works a treat, so glad i can change folder icons, just a couple of clicks and you have changed the folder icon, i think it will work on any image does not need to be a icon format, anyway, well chuffed, all the best, bluesfloyd
