When I bookmark a page then click the Bookmark button to open the window that shows you the Remove bookmark button and the name, tag, and folder options, the Remove Bookmark button is broken. It shows no text. This problem goes away periodically and I don't know why. The function of the button works but it is annoying. Can I fix this or do I have to completely reinstall Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Starting in Safe Mode solved the problem and the theme is default. However, it returns in normal mode. It's worth noting that I have NoScript installed so it might be blocking parts of the popup. Is there some sort of address for the popup that I can add to the exclusions of NoScript?

Actually, the same thing happens even with NoScript disabled...

The popup randomly fixed itself and now works even with all addons enabled. I'm sure that it'll break again, but I'll update this if it does.

I'm having this same problem. Someone knowledgeable should answer on this.

Does it keep happen if you close and restart Firefox?

This happens if the #editBookmarkPanelRemoveButton element doesn't have a label attribute. I was able to catch this once.
