how can i retain BT desk top help on mozilla firefox page after 01-10-2016?

my homepage is mozilla firefox and i use windows 10. i have been informed by BT that from 01-10-2016 i will be unable to use BT desktop help and should change to internet explorer, i would prefer to continue to use my firefox homepage. will this be possible?

I use BT myself and have never needed to make use of BT Desktop Help. In fact, on changing computers I have not needed to install it at all.

Unless you really need it or rely upon it, you can quite happily continue to use Firefox and your choice of homepage without it (I do!).

on quite a few occasions i have needed BT desktop help to connect with broadband, and i have no doubt i will experience broadband connection problems inthe future, where else can i get help on those occasions?

If it is a connection issue, you should be able to get help directly from BT over the phone.

What's the problem with using IE for that one purpose?

You may not be aware of it, but you can use multiple web browsers without problems - even simultaneously.
