Hello there. I was curious if there was a way to lock individual tabs in my firefox browser. If there as an extension I am willing to do that as well. For example. I would like to lock individual tabs behind a password if my family were to come in my room you would not be able to access a certain tab without a password. I have discovered the "Primary Password" setting but I am looking to lock a tab not my login passwords. Thank you for the help!

Unfortunately, there's no built-in method to password lock a FF tab. Add-ons that previously provided that functionality have ceased to exist or haven't been updated.

The simplest solution is to leverage the locking feature provided by your OS instead. Pressing <Windows Key + L> key combination instantly locks your Windows desktop session.

If you're using a shared computer, you can create multiple Firefox profiles for your family to use. See: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

Thanks so much. Sad to hear it but very informative!
