I'm no longer able to log in to BankofAmerica.com using Firefox but can do so with Chrome. BofA tells me that Firefox is most likely put a block that isn't showing up. Can you remove that block or tell me where to find the block to all Bank of America to log in to my account?

On that website press Ctrl + Shift + i, then select the Network tab. Try to log in and check if any request is being blocked.

I did what TyDraniu said but what am I looking for? About 50 lines of code streamed by as the page loaded up and the login was attempted. I did see the red circle with a line through it a few times, but what do I do with that?

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Yes it does.

I am sure it is something that Bank of America did i.e. up the security level or something. It changed about 3 weeks ago. BoA says to use Chrome so that is why I am checking with Mozilla to see if they are going to address it.

You can check for issues with Total Cookie Protection.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin), always make sure such extensions do not block content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.

It did happen on other profiles too (I have multiple accounts). But as of today either BoA or Firefox fixed the issue as I can sign in without any problems.
