When Firefox crashes, tabs aren't saved, and Recently Closed Tabs/Windows are grayed-out

Although I had "Show My Windows and Tabs from Last Time" set in Options, my tabs aren't being restored after a crash. I also had my Home Page set to my Yahoo Mail page upon opening a new session. I then changed my Home Page to a blank page, but that hasn't worked to restore my open tabs after a crash. To make matters worse, under History,Recently Closed Tabs and Recently Closed Windows stay gray, so I can't restore the open tabs from there, either.

Hello Sukki.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode. In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and some features like visited links and others are disabled and not working. You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing".

See Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_Private_Browsing ..... You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History" To see all History settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history UnCheck: [[ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"

I'm not in Private Browsing mode. But I will try disabling all Add-Ons. Thanks.
