Since the latest update sites I used to visit daily give me this message:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to algoclicks.com.

The OCSP server has no status for the certificate.

(Error code: sec_error_ocsp_unknown_cert)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

The only thing to click on the error message is Try Again which does nothing. I tried adding them to trusted sites, also not helping, clearing cache and cookies, not working."

These are sites I use for work so I need them and I do not want to change browsers, I depend on Firefox.

I'm using Firefox 23.0.1

My name is Ila and I am grateful for your help.

Thank you.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.

(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)

  • Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

Please report back as soon as possible.
