Archived sent emails have disappeared
My inbox was over it's size limit so I archived the emails by selecting them all then clicking "archive". I have looked at other people with this problem but none of the solutions seem to work for me.
An Archive folder appeared called 2015 but when I click on it it is empty.
I have also looked in local folders but all I have under Mail > Local Folders are notepad files for Trash and Unsent Messages not Sent :S
Please Help, I use my sent messages folder to keep track of my work load so it is important that I know on which date I sent emails and to who.
Thank you!

- What operating system do you use (Win8, MAC, Linux, etc)?
- What version of Thunderbird are you using?
- Are you using IMAP or POP?
- Who is your email provider?
- If your mail server has a browser interface (web mail access such as mail.google.com), do the messages show up there?

Thank you for taking the time to try to help me with this problem but it seems to have fixed itself, kind of. When I logged into my emails again 24hrs later my archive was still empty but my sent emails had reappeared where they were previously! Strange...
