How can I stop getting the "file is safe" message when I start Firefox?

I recently downloaded a program called evernote. Since then, I am getting the popup notice that evernote.exe is safe each time I start firefox. I appreciated getting it the first time to be sure it was safe (it seems to be a Norton warning), but now I get it every time. Is there a way to turn that off?
