Sirs,

Up to now I have been using Windows Live Mail. Unfortunately, as you probably know, Microsoft are discontinuing support for Live Mail this month, when it will become insecure, which is why I have changed to Thunderbird. I have a group of friends who constantly forward emails, jokes etc., to each other under the BCC heading. I have grouped their addresses under the heading of ‘Friends’ so I do not have to spend time selecting each individual name from my address book when forwarding an email. However I do not want to forward the email everybody on the list.

In Live Mail when I put the list of Friends onto the BCC send to line there is a blue + sign which when I click on the + sign the list of friends is shown on the line and I can click on and delete any names whom I do not want to forward that particular email, e.g. the person who originally sent me the email.

Is there any way I can do the same in Thunderbird?

Many thanks

John Williams
