How do I solve web page slowing down browser

Hello,

I still get the yellow bar message saying a page is slowing down the browser. I tried Safe Mode and disabling plugins already.

l have 3 plugins that are disabled.

1) I dont have Webroot Spy Sweeper 2) I chose to let the script run longer (20). 3) I dont recall which sites the scrips happened but I will install JavaScript Toggle On and Off extension when it happens again.

Update Malwarebytes. If the problem continues, disable it.

I disabled Malwarebytes but the problem started before I installed it 3 weeks ago.

Also, it's not a few sites I have a problem with. Every site l visit takes a long time to load...last count was 23 seconds. I refreshed Firefox and nothing changed.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Safe mode didnt change anything. It's still slow and now I'm also getting 'Firefox not responding'.
