I cannot interact with firefox except to type into the address bar:

1. Firefox loads, and I can type into the address bar, but no page will show. 2. I cannot click any of the buttons on firefox (home button, option button) 3. I cannot click the x in the top right corner to exit. I need to exit from the start bar 4. I cannot run a refresh because I can't access the options. 5. I do not seem to be able to get to safe mode when I hold down shift and start firefox

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I doesn't change the problem

hi, we have seen a couple of reports where external software (like netsupport school) was hooking into firefox causing this - could this be the case on your system as well?

a firefox beta version was just released and has a potential fix for this - could you try it? on the first start it will likely exhibit the same problem, but after you force-close it once and restart the beta build, firefox should hopefully be back in working order: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/#product-desktop-beta

That worked! Thank you so much.

I was wondering if it had to do with a monitoring software. This is a work computer that has netsupport on it. This just didn't seem to be an issue in the past.
