I should have elaborated a bit more. Device is Amazon 7in. Fire (5th Generation). Android version: Fire OS 5.4.0.0. LastPass appears in the Add-Ons screen, but the little green puzzle piece on the left is not showing as it is for a couple other items. Also, LastPass had been working fine on Nightly until the recent upgrade that changed the icon from the previous brownish one to one with the curled up fox. Thanks.

This is a community forum. The OP was testing a more bleeding edge Nightly development channel build of 57.0a1 back in September (as current is 59.0a1).

The Lastpass extension was not made for Android Firefox 57+ back then until Nov 9. https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addon/lastpass-password-manager/versions/
