My entire Thunderbird account disappeared and I can't find my mail or saved ones.
I tried to open my thunderbird email account this afternoon and it was totally gone. All it would do is ask me if I wanted to create a new account. I cannot find any of my emails from past up to this morning.

That sounds like it has lost sight of your profile.
