Jw player "Error loading media: File could not be played"
Hello,
JW player which was previously working prior to the 2 most recent firefox updates now isn't working. I have the latest shockwave flash player installed and vlc media player (which seems to be discontinued with firefox). I tested the video on the jw player stream test site below and was able to load JW player version 8 in HTML5 but not version 7 in HTML5 (the flash render mode worked though). The site i'm visiting uses JW player 6 and a video message of "Error loading media: File could not be played" appears when I clicked the play button. I have no firewalls or antivirus programs installed prior and currently. The windows 10 firewalls also have been disabled in both times. Any suggestions of I can do to resolve this issue?
I've formatted my laptop with installing only the latest firefox and adobe flash while uninstalling/deactivating all firewalls to still land at this same issue above. I then downloaded all the windows updates and with no further programs installed with no resolution.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
You can check the Web Console to see if there are JW Player related messages
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Tools/Web_Console
It is an adult website I am paying a monthly subscription. Is it okay to post the link here?
Anyway, I accessed the webconsole per your instructions and received the below as output. I replaced underscore in the second line to replace the adult term used. I can add the site and words if needed in a future reply post.
"HTTP load failed with status 403. Load of media resource http://7mp4.links______.com/amp/mp4/mxgs373.mp4?st=fH2WLSlIURByY3lAtyvA7w&e=1558344266 failed. dvd.php Error playing media: MediaError { code: 4, message: "403: Forbidden" } jwplayer.js:3:399 CAPTIONS([object Object]) jwplayer.js:3:416 Error: This error message will be blank when privacy.resistFingerprinting = true. If it is really necessary, please add it to the whitelist in MediaError::GetMessage: 403: Forbidden"
No need to post a link to an adult website. This looks like a permission issue where you do not have access to this website.
You can check if you can open this MP4 file in a Firefox tab or that there are still error messages.
You can try to create a cookie exception for the domain in the error message.
