mijn hotmailaccount is niet meer niet meer te openen met Firefox.In kan wel inloggen maar daarna werkt niets meer.
Sinds 2 weken is mijn hotmailaccount niet meer niet meer te openen met Firefox 17; waarschijnlijk na een update. In kan wel inloggen maar daarna werkt niets meer. Als ik me wil inschrijven, krijg ik steeds dezelfde pagine terug. Ook de mappen en berichten van mijn hotmail-account openen niet als ik erop klik. Ik krijg alleen die pagina te zien met: geheime vraag invullen, alternatief email-adres invullen .e.d. en verder kom ik niet, ik kan klikken/invullen wat ik wil. Niets doet het !
Met IE werkt de hotmail-account wel. Alleen wil ik de IE browser nooit gebruiken.
Weet u misschien een oplossing zodat ik mijn hotmailaccounts weer normaal kan ópenen, én gebruiken met Firefox. Ik wil gewoon weer kunnen aanmelden op mijn hotmailaccount met Firefox, mijn berichten en andere hotmail-mappen weer kunnen openen.

"Clear the Cache":
- Extra > Opties > Geavanceerd > Netwerk > Gebufferde webinhoud > Nu wissen
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Extra > Opties > Privacy > Geschiedenis > Aangepaste instellingen gebruiken voor geschiedenis > Cookies tonen

Please reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using one of the following steps:
- Hold down the Shift key and click the Reload button with the left mouse key.
OR
- Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows and Linux)
- Press Command + Shift + R (Mac)

Sorry I did try all your ideas, but I stil can't open my Hotmail-account and I can't send, reply any hotmail-emails, when I click on a message in my Inbox the message doesn't open.
If I click on any links in my inbox on hotmail, absolutely nothing happens. Please help me.
I'm using HTTPS-hotmail. JavaScript is enabled . I'm not infected with malware, I use Norman Security Suite Viruses and Spyware.
I disabled all add-ons with FF in Safe Mode, and hotmail worked well. I used Hotmail with Firefox for years with no problem. Starting about 2 weeks i can't sign into my hotmail account through firefox;
I open firefox, then hotmail, put my adress, and then there's this page: A password isn't enough ... I click on the "SAVE"-button", it does not work.
It works well in IE.
I did remove the cookies, by 'View Cookies' there is this cookie: "answers microsoft.com"", and i cannot remove this cookie.
(I have firefox on "Never remember history")
I also did use the the refresh button and the Shift key, it doesn't work :-(
By Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del , totally nothing happens. Thank you so much for your help!! My english language is not good, that's why my reply takes a long time. Sorry for that.

If it works in Firefox Safe-mode then disable all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled
- the default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
- the default toolbar layout is used
- the Javascript JIT compiler is disabled
- hardware acceleration is disabled

Yes!!! No more problems. :-) I can log in again!! As soon as I disabled the Ghostery Mozilla Add-ons, I could open the hotmail -page, i clicked on my emails, and i can open all the emails again!!
(Strange, because I use Ghostery for many years) I'm so glad, I dont like the IE-browser.
