Netflix says I need the the latest version of firefox. At the top of the screen it says "Firefox is installing components needed to play the audio or video on this page. Please try again later"

As far as I can tell nothing is installing and I need to actually do something to resolve this issue. Unfortunately I don't know what. Please help me resolve this issue.

I've noticed since a few upgraded of Firefox tat I am having an issue loading my local uTorrent GUI at: https://192.168.0.xxx:36724/gui/index.html. I am currently using 132.0.2 x64 and it eventually loads after 3-4 minutes. There are absolutely zero add-ons at the moment, and it does not matter if it is a portable version or standard installed version. I do not seem to have this issue while using Firefox (latest) ESR portable version.

Is there something I'm missing here? I am not sure if it is the port that's the issue with Firefox, because I have a local website using port 9090 and 8080 without any issues on loading. Also, it is happening with the nightly version of FF as well. All other browsers load quickly.

I had to reset my firefox password. When signing in, the account is not synced (no extensions, history, bookmarks etc) and acts like it is the fresh instance. When manually syncing, it spins for a second then stops. Says it last synced 1 second ago. I see no data otherwise. Does resetting password seriously remove all data? What is the point of recovering the account if it gives you a fresh account anyway? There was a disclosure that mentioned some data, but not even including bookmarks or extensions is a little upsetting for me. Disrupted my work day quite a lot.

For the past week or so I am finding Youtube videos are unavailable because, I understand from messages that flash on my screen, its ads are being blocked. This does not occur if I use Chrome. Also, although I had chosen Duck Duck Go as my search engine, Yahoo seems to be doing the job. Can you please advise me how I can stop ad blocking for Youtube, and yahoo appearing as the search engine, when I use Firefox. Firefox was my default browser but have changed to Chrome for the present. The O/S on my PC is Windows 10.

I'm not able to open any HTTP website on firefox (desktop and mobile) and it started about 2 months ago. So, is HTTP traffic not allowed anymore? I'm able to access HTTP over chrome, edge and safari, but firefox (regular and developer edition and ios version) are not working. It keeps loading for about 5 minutes then I see "ns_error_net_reset" in the console network tab.

hello I use FF 132.0.2 (64- Bit) and Proton VPN version 3.4.3. since one of the latest updates of FF the connection to the WEB is terrible slow. I tried the Troubleshooting mode and the reset of FF, there is no improvement. Other browers do not have this problem and without running VPN the speed of FF is as it should be. thanks and sorry for my German Englisch HI

I am currently running Firefox on desktop (128.4.0esr) version.

The last few addons that I have installed are not working properly. Or rather, they work just fine, but when I close Firefox and re-open it later, they seem to fail to actually enable. I must go to the about:addons page, disable the addon, and then re-enable it for it to actually work. If I do not do this, it will not be on my toolbar, and the Extensions sidebar button does not show the addon in the list. It's as if it isn't properly installed.

After reading this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1420017 I thought maybe my extensions db got corrupted somehow, so I followed their instructions and deleted the extensions.databaseSchema config. And wouldn't you know it, it worked! Once I restarted Firefox, I saw some notifications in the main sidebar menu and was greeted with this: Notifications Once I clicked through them and enabled, everything seemed fine.

However after closing firefox again, the problem comes back. Those exact extensions that I manually approved upon restarting are the ones that are giving me troubles and not enabling properly. An interesting thing I noticed is that these all seem to be extensions that require additional permissions. I enabled the addon and gave them the permissions they requested, so I don't know why they are failing to enable properly on startup.

After switching to Mozilla Firefox from Google chrome I am facing a issue which I cant solve. Whenever i try to send message in https://www.facebook.com/ it shows "Couldn't send". So i though it face Facebook's problem , but after trying this same in the google chrome , it was working smoothly , no issues. Please fix this

why is there no way to select audio/video/ microphone input or output? . my headset dies all the time and i would like to change in firefox which output the audio should go into. while skullcandys headphones firmware sucks, firefox has the wherewithal to have a device settings section where i can choose which device has which input and output

I cannot pin the extension to the toolbar. The extension is not shown in the puzzle icon dropdown, and it is not in the overflow. Please add an automatic pin to the toolbar when a new extension is added! How do I pin it now?

When navigating to msn.com/en-us, and about 5S after the page loads, the majority of the page is covered with an ad. This only happens when using an ExpressVPN Santa Monica connection (most reliable and fastest).

If I use another VPN server location the problem is not present. Additional information: - Location: Dongguan, China - Using Google Chrome does not cause a problem. - ExpressVPN have no solution or explanation at this time. The VPN app is set to block ads but this does not help - If I connect using Surfshark there is no problem. - OS is WIN10 64-bit fully updated. - Equipment is an Asus notebook. - This issue has only appeared on or about 5 Nov which is around the time Firefox updated. - I have updated manually but no luck.

I recently tried logging in to my account at a financial institution and in addition to my user name and password they wanted to send me a verification code. I have no means other than e-mail to receive the code so I cannot log in. E-mail is not one of their optional ways to get the code. They say they have not changed their procedures. Could there possibly be something in the latest Firefox updates that could cause this problem?

I have been unable to complete the update/upgrade of Firefox on my Laptop. Upon starting my computer I have downloaded the upgrade file offered in the opening message. It performs normally right up to the end when it gives a message that something went wrong. It then offers an alternate download and method to upgrade which downloads fine and begins to install. At the end of this install, the install wizard says "finished" however despite the "Launch Firefox" box is checked, it never opens Firefox. For some reason the update is not completing, and now I am having trouble with some Apps opening which I suspect is due to the browser being out of date. I have tried clearing my Cache and Cookies and re-trying but have remained unsuccessful. I really could use some assistance with getting my browser successfully updated. Best Regards, Brian
