I'm getting the same pacman sounds on my computer. Just started today on two different computers.

We were able to resolve the issue by disabling the "Cool Preview" add-in. Mac OSX 10.4.

Thanks, You are correct. After disable "cool preview", it stop. Matter of fact, on the audio mixer, firefox icon disappear. Prior I need to "mute" it to stop pacman.

Same problem, same solution. It's a sad one, I'd love cool preview. Probably exploitation of a vulnerability of a well used complement.

After disable cool preview, the audio goes away. The firefox icon on audio mixer for Vista also disappear!!

MacOsx 10.6.3 problem of sound resolved disabling the coolpreview add-on --- i hope this is not a malicious script inside the coolpreview.

To stop that pacman sound I just disabled "Cool previews" and voilá, the sound is gone...!!!

cooliris fix with the latest update version 3.1. Download the new update will clear this Pacman theme!!
