eBay has a new security feature when attempting to e-mail a seller; it requires that you enter a numerical code in a box. When on Firefox eBay does not recognize that I've entered the number and keeps telling me to enter the number but when on IE it recognizes the number. What add-on, etc do I need to make Firefox compatible with eBay? Thanks

Have the same issue. It rejects my captcha input as being invalid everytime, no matter how many times i refresh it, or retry. Going to attempt to send ebay an email about it.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I have same issue and to cor-el...thanks for the suggestions but I have so many add-ons it would take forever through the process of elimination, and is not a sure fix.

The problem seems to be caused by the Java Console add-ons. Disabling mine (6.0.20 and 6.0.21) fixed the problem.
