When I click Mozilla FireFox, Bing immediately takes over the WHOLE page. No FireFox. Just Bing,useless piece of rubbish. No Tabs. No Tools or anything else. I uninstalled Bing. 7 times. Didn't work. Please help.

Please do the following.
- In the location bar where you normally type in a web address, type about:config and hit Enter.
- In the filter at the top, type: keyword.URL
- Double click it and remove whatever's in there and replace it with http://www.google.com/search?q= and then click OK.
- Close the tab
The URL to add in "keyword.URL" becomes a link in this post, so right click it and choose "Copy Link Location" to copy it to the Windows clipboard. Then hit CTRL+V to paste it. Saves you having to type the whole thing.
To reset your home page, do the following.
- Go to the site you want to set as your homepage.
- Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | General.
- Make sure it says "Show My Homepage" in the first dropdown menu.
- Click the button called "Use Current Pages" to set the homepage to the one you have on the screen.
Thank you. This is a nightmare. There is NO location bar, only the Bing search bar in the middle of the page. There is NO possibility of typing anything on this page, except the Bing search/url you are looking for. Therefore, none of the other instructions you give can be implemented.
I am a seasoned user. I have done everything I possibly can to get rid of this rubbish, including the usual remove browser elements. NOTHING works. Can you try to help me again?
I forgot to emphasize; there is NO location bar, no down arrow, no back arrow. Nothing. Only the Bing stuff like MSN Hotmail Preferences (naturally, remove or delete or uninstall is not a preference).
Please do the following.
- Right click a blank part of the Tab bar and choose "Customize" from the menu.
- Click the button called "Restore Default Set" in the panel which opens, then click Done.
If that doesn't work, do the following.
- Press the ALT key to display the text links.
- Click Help | "Restart with Add-ons disabled".
- In the menu which appears, checkmark "Reset Toolbars and Controls"
- Click the button at the bottom called "Make changes and restart".
P.S. Are you seeing Firefox full screen perhaps? Hit F11 if you are.

Thank you. I now have a location bar, which is great! But Bing still takes up whole page.
