Struggling to send out a mail merge campaign and keep getting an error message
Every time i keep trying to send a mailmerge email, i get the following error:
[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8050000e (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_INPUT) [nsIConverterInputStream.readString]" nsresult: "0x8050000e (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_INPUT)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://mailmerge/content/compose.js :: mailmerge.csv :: line 329" data: no]
Can anyone help?

In the .csv file, have you checked to see if you have any blank fields?
I think it was to do with copying some email addresses from an email from outlook and it must have had hidden characters in or something as when i deleted them, the final processed perfectly fine!

After email is completed and ready to send: Click on Mail Merge. Check the "character set" (in the Mail Merge dialog box) What does it say 'Windows 1252' or 'UTF-8'?
If you have eg: 'UTF-8' then try changing it to 'Windows 1252'

I'm having a similar issue. My CSV file came from an excel worksheet. There are no blank entries and i saved it as a CSV file, but TB gives me an error message (see attachment)
thanks
hi Fajita_shorty This question is already marked as solved. When you post a query into another persons question, you are in effect sending to only the original postee an email requesting help. Only those who are following this question will see it. It is by accident that I am still following it. The original person who created this question does not need to get a load of emails from you nor me so please start your own new question where several people may see and other help.
Will do!
