I am unable to read my emails or send, on trying to send, I get the error message 'Unable to load rich text editor', the email works with Google ok, how do I fix this issue in Firefox?

You might want to check out https://support.mozilla.com/questions/896294 and watch that thread the only real connection so far is that it is very recent and involves Virgin email.
Those that are in that thread say Virgin incoming email is not working unless they disable Adblock Plus from the ADP icon.
Actually the rich text editor would be in separate file, so there is very likely a connection to ADP because some of those file may be blocked. I used to have a lot of problem in this web forum and the tools were blocked (don't really need them) just because I block a lot of things here: like furry animals in nurse's uniforms, a garbage can (toolkit) and that whole blue area at the bottom of this page that interferes with scrolling and use of "End" key.

Hi. I'm not technically skilled, but based on the reply from the other guy re. AdBlock Plus being the common denominator to everyone's problems, I checked my Filter settings (ABP version 2.0.3) and deselected 'Fanboy's List (English)'. With this deselected and ABP still 'enabled' the messages work as usual.
I only had this problem using Virgin Mail, so must be the way they now present their mail that conflicts with 'Fanboy's List (English)' filter. I guess I'll need toi choose another filter.
Follow up to previous post. I just selected 2 different Filters (EasyList & ABPindo+EasyList) and they do not interfere with the presentation of my Virgin Media emails
