Briefly: Lost my password for desktop (macbook) mozilla sync. Still synced on my iphone. Need to reset password but that will delete all my bookmarks on the server. --- So I want to export all my bookmarks off my iphone and then reset password / log in to both. --- As another work around - would a timecapsule backup have me still synced and I could timetravel to save it on macbook, then come back to present day?

Thanks in advance.

Hi rlstrasser, I'm sorry, there is no way to export your Firefox for iOS bookmarks without accessing them from your desktop.

However, you shouldn't have to reset your password. If you sign into your account, it should download bookmarks from the server.

And yes, Time Machine backup should work. :) That's probably the best way to go.
