How can I darken the words in the toolbar? They are so pale I can't see them. I hate the desktop showing through, can I make the background solid?

I have this stupid new Windows 7 where everything is transparent. I cannot see the pale gray words in the toolbar or my tabs. How can I make the toolbar background not transparent or how can I darken or enlarge (preferably both) the toolbar words? I have already enlarged the fonts on the website portion of Firefox but it did nothing for the toolbars. I have also tried various background colors but the words are still to pale to read. Thank you. Linda

I'm with you on the translucent title bar. You can disable that by changing your Windows 7 theme from Aero to Basic. This article describes where to change it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-the-theme-to-improve-performance

To change the font or font-size on your toolbars, you could try this add-on: Theme Font & Size Changer :: Add-ons for Firefox.

Does that fix it?
