FF bar is there but no window; have reinstalled, restarted: no soap. Ideas? OS 10.6.8 on an iMac.
I can't open Firefox window: have reinstalled, restarted computer. FF shows up in dock. Click on it, Firefox menu bar shows up, is not grayed out, but unresponsive. To quit the program, I have to go to "Force quit" in Finder.

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).
