I installed some extensions (e.g. flagfox) while logged in to my user account. I have admin access on my home network running Ubuntu. How do I make these extensions available to other users on the network? Surely they don't each need to download/install a separate copy?

You are using an old version of Firefox that is no longer being maintained.

Extensions installed via a web page install trigger are automatically installed to the the Profile that was being used. "Global" installation needs to be done manually.

Read the "notes" here for above 2.0.0.7 and Gecko 1.9.2 (which is Firefox 3.6).
