Hey,

I have this recurring problem of picture display. Basically the top of the picture is loaded fine, but at some point it only displays black. This only occurs on extremely long pictures -generally 9gag posts/ reddit picture posts-.

Here is an example of picture that don't load correctly. -~800x9200- http://i.imgur.com/SZrkxom.png Unfortunately I can't manage to upload a picture on your website, even after several size reductions. -There is definitively a problem on this side too if I can't upload a jpeg of less than 50kB-

Basically my browser can't display the last 2 panels of the comic. The picture is not cropped, but the last 2 panels are blacked out.

The image looks the same for me on Windows 7 in Firefox and Chrome.

In case this is an incompatibility between Firefox and your graphics card/chipset driver software, could you test with Firefox's use of hardware acceleration disabled? You can set that in the Options dialog:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again. Any difference?

For future reference, Firefox for Windows has long had problems with images either taller or wider than 36,000 pixels. This isn't that issue.

It seems to have solved the problem on the example I gave. Thank you very much.

I'll keep this question updated if it happens again
