How can I get hide/show toolbars to again function independently on multiple instances of firefox?

I run two instances of firefox.exe. One for the left monitor, and one for the right. There is a toolbar that I want to see on the right monitor, but I do not want to see it on the left monitor. This never used to be a problem, but now it is. It seems as if though now for whatever reason show/hide toolbars are inextricably-linked, and by changing or viewing one toolbar on one instance will simultaneously cause the exact same change on the other open instance. I'm hoping there might be a simple solution for this in the about:config, however, I'd rather not tamper with those settings until I'm sure which setting with fix this particular problem.

Thank you for your consideration, and for taking the time to read this post.

Sincerely; DC

Toolbar settings are common to all open windows of that Firefox instance. I don't know if there is an extension that allows to set this window dependent, so you can check the Add-ons website. If you can't find one then you would have to use a second instance with its own profile.

You can add -no-remote to the command line to open another Firefox instance with its own profile and run multiple Firefox instances simultaneously.

Okay, thanks allot for the advice. Your trick works, I cloned my profile and now I can have to toolbars operate show/hide independently.
