Firefox keeps opening as a minimized window
Whenever I open up Firefox it always opens as a minimized window. It seems like nothing at first but when I'm constantly opening and closing Firefox it's gotten annoying enough that I'm looking to fix it. I tried following the instructions recommended here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1118937 but to no avail. I tried looking through about:preferences but can't find anything. Any suggestions?

On Windows, the Properties of a desktop program shortcut includes the Run setting with the choice to start up as a Normal, Maximized, or Minimized window. Does your shell possibly have anything like that which could be awry?

Sorry, bit of a Linux noob. Could you elaborate or rephrase that?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
